1st time PC builder - what should i do?

hey friends!

first time pc builder here - looking to invest in a good, functional set up for every day use. i'm a lighting designer/lighting technician for major concerts and festivals and will be running software on this set up that fully renders lighting, as well as programs lights (might take up a chunk of ram). i also will probably game on the occasion on this set up.

what do i need to build this? how do i get started? for a while i've just been using a laptop with multiple monitors, but now i need more than that.
