MSI Center needed

MSI Center is installed on my G911 purchased 8/25 but I don't use it for anything. I'm trying to clean my system of anything that's not necessary for my gaming (mostly DCS). I'm going to use the bios for fan controls I think, and other tools for diagnostics and temp monitoring. My understanding is that there are some updates that come through MSI but I thought Microsoft provided drivers and BIOS firmware updates are done by hand (what IS the latest for the G911?). Is MSI Center really needed???

You don't need MSI Center except to change the RGB in software. We handle the driver updates, it's based on the computer CHID, nothing to do with MSI Center.

@PowerSpec_MikeW I've noticed that MSI center doesn't recognize all the fans preinstalled in the G911. I have one in the back, two on the side and 3 up top. Six total. Seems only the CPU and SYS fans are recognized. It's the same in the BIOS 2A04 (Jan this year). What gives?

Fans are daisy chained together. So the 3 radiator fans are on the CPU header, and everything else goes to the SYS fan header.
