Monitor RMA

So I bought my monitor a little under 2 years ago with the microcenter warranty for 2 years, and last week I decided to update my bios. So I went through that process, and when the PC rebooted after it finished, it didn't show any display at all. I tried turning the pc on and off and nothing worked. I tried reseating the ram, gpu, tried without my vertical gpu mount, but nothing worked. So then I looked online for solutions and brought it to my TV outside to troubleshoot. The moment I did, there was a display, and it was about the CPU Fan speed error that happens after every time I update the bios. Before this I thought there was something wrong with my pc, but I guess not. I tested this with my second monitor and it the CPU Fan speed error display after updating the bios. Is this just a faulty monitor? I have the Acer XV272U 180HZ 1440p 27 Inch IPS. Would microcenter be able to RMA this or would I have to keep it? Or is this universal for this monitor?
