Powerspec G757 Crashing
Hello,
I purchased the G757 back in December 2025. Recently, it has started crashing after 1-2 hours of gaming. No warnings, turns off completely. In order to turn it back on, I have to flip the switch where the power cord plugs in. I originally had it plugged into a surge protector and moved it directly to an outlet. I noticed that change had some improvement as I was able to game a little longer, then last night it happened again. Mainly playing Arc Raiders and BF6. Can someone help? Is this the PSU not supplying enough power? How do I diagnose?

For the PC to turn off and stay off it's either heat or power. Check your temps while you're gaming. If not that, it's the PSU (Most Likely) or motherboard VRM (Less likely).

Thanks. I have been monitoring the temps. They seem to be within range. I will use HWIN to log the activity and see what I can spot on the next crash. What would my solutions look like? Do I need to bring the rig back to Micro Center or can this be diagnosed remotely?

HWINFO64 is good, but to catch anything you'd probably have to use Rivatuner to record from another PC, but I doubt it will show much. It's an emergency shutdown for a power issue. It's a hardware problem, we'd need to diagnose it in store. Replace the PSU, see if the problem is resolved, otherwise board.

@PowerSpec_MikeW I reached out to PS support and they did a stress test and found everything normal. I was able to replicate the crash while logging data from HWINFO. If I attached it would you be willing to take a look and provide your opinion on what is happening? Would like to diagnose it before bringing it in for 2+ days if possible. TIA.

Sure, we can look at it. Probably won't be able to isolate it to a single component, it'll require some hardware level troubleshooting. Please post your log data.

Would not let me add CSV file. I included a link to the Google file https://drive.google.com/file/d/11F95sJCKxSr6lemyawTA8vqxHKQk0sDw/view?usp=drive_link

Please set the access to everyone and I'll take a look.

DOH!
It is set to everyone now. I included a new link

@dneve Nothing is showing in the log, no major changes at the end before the crash. So it doesn't seem to be an issue with how the board is handling power delivery. Something is causing intermittent power loss to the system. Could be a local electrical issue, defective PSU or defective VRM on the board.
Power consumption wise, this system shouldn't more than 570W or so under max load. The PSU should not be an issue, but may have a defect.

Brought it in to my local store and they could not replicate the crash. They reinstalled the driver and I will pick it up tomorrow. What should I do if this persists?

I'd log more data. The difference is they're probably trying to replicate it under a stress test and gaming isn't quite that. It has a lot spikes and idles. An adaptive or variable test is more appropriate here. Let me know what you see.
