I built a custom PC over 3 decades ago and have been out of the loop since. I am trying to build a system that will not be obsolete in 10 years as I plan on making this my last PC build and I need a system that can do whatever I need it to as I explore my future interests as I retire from working as an educator for the last 25 years. I love creating and editing video and audio, and my hobbies include future music/video creation, production, and editing, but I have a budget that must be considered. Over the past 3 months I have been sucked into the rabbit hole re-educating myself regarding technology and feel a bit lost so I am reaching out for feedback to make sure I have not ventured too far off of what I truly need. My current custom build is as follows and it is currently at the high end of my budget. Monitors (2 for now), keyboard, mouse, and peripherals will be added later. I am also old, so Windows 11 PRO is my OS. Any feedback is welcomed.
