PowerSpec G468 BIOS/TPM issue after power outage

Hello PowerSpec / Micro Center Support,

I have a PowerSpec / MicroElectronics G468. I am trying to confirm the correct BIOS/firmware recovery path because the system developed several issues after a sudden power outage.

System information:

• System Manufacturer: MicroElectronics
• System Model: G468
• System SKU: 290627
• Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. TUF GAMING Z590-PLUS WIFI
• CPU: Intel Core i9-10900K
• Current BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 9004 x64, 04/20/2021
• ME FW Version shown in BIOS: 15.0.21.1549
• OS: Windows 11 Pro, Version 10.0.26100

Issues after the power outage:

1. Firmware TPM is enabled in BIOS, but Windows tpm.msc says: “Compatible TPM cannot be found.”
2. Windows shutdown turns off the display, but the fans/lights remain on and the PC does not fully power off unless I cut power manually.
3. Bluetooth input has become extremely slow/laggy, especially with a Bluetooth controller.

4.I tried the ASUS retail BIOS 2803 for TUF GAMING Z590-PLUS WIFI, but ASUS EZ Flash rejects it with: “Selected file is not a UEFI BIOS.”

Could you please confirm whether this PowerSpec G468 requires a PowerSpec/MicroElectronics OEM BIOS rather than the ASUS retail BIOS?

If yes, could you provide:

1. The correct BIOS file for the PowerSpec/MicroElectronics G468;
2. The recommended BIOS/firmware update or recovery procedure;
3. Whether this issue should be handled through Windows Update, Micro Center service, or a manual BIOS update;
4. Whether the symptoms suggest a motherboard/firmware issue caused by the power outage.

Not required but I would use a FAT32 formatted flash drive.

1. Retail BIOS is compatible.
2. Use EZ Flash through the BIOS, flash from a flash drive.
3. OS corruption is a concern with the symptoms and worth ruling out before focusing on hardware, if convenient to do so.
4. It's possible, but I'd rule out software first. Clean install if possible, or you could do an OS repair and see if that resolves some of the issues.
