G446 BIOS

Hi,

I have a friend that has the Powerspec G446 and noticed that his computer crashes quite often, had him look at the BIOS version and its from 2023, prior to the Intel BIOS fixes that came in 2024. Is there a latest update for the G446 BIOS, specifically with the PRO Z690-A WIFI (MS-7D25) motherboard? Anything that one should know before doing the BIOS update (don't have a lot of experience doing BIOS updates.) Would it be easier to use the custom Powerspec BIOS that's potentially available or make the switch and try out the MSI version? Would appreciate any help, thank you!

Attached AMI, with those fixes implemented. To flash, from the BIOS press Control + Alt +T to enter advanced flash mode

Yes, it looks like the normal M-Flash, but our BIOS requires the advanced mode.

Thanks! After pushing control + alt + T will it just redirect to picking which drive has the BIOS update in? Going over to my friend's this weekend and just want to make sure I got the procedure down, can't really find any videos that show what happens with advanced flash mode. Thanks again for your help.
