I am needing help. I am a PC user and am tempted to go to Apple (even though it sometimes pains me to think about it), but I am looking to build a small form factor build (competing with an iMac) to do some basic video and photo editing for personal and team use. I currently have a decent build that is 7 years old that I can salvage a few parts from, but I may not. This will also be a family computer here at the house. Any help is welcome... AMD, Intel, Mac... any and all information is welcome.
Next year I'm also going to be building and have been considering a case with a smaller footprint, like the Thermaltake Core V21: https://www.microcenter.com/product/443410/thermaltake-core-v21-matx-mini-tower-computer-case---black
Not sure about a specific SFF build, but I think the NUC type systems have a lot to offer for super small footprint but decently powered platform. I think Micro Center has them under the Barebones PCs if you want to take a look.
Hey, Not sure if you're still following this thread, but Nerd on a budget just posted a small build. Looks pretty clean too!
Yes- that was a great build from Nerd on a Budget! Here's a link in case you haven't seen it: https://youtu.be/sjXR4Mb7U5g Hope this helps!
