Hello people! I'm looking for a cheaper gaming rig that I can build. I dont play a lot of graphic intense games. Path if exile pubg and maybe some wow? Not to graphic heavy. But kind of build should I go for?
Hello! Is there a particular budget you had in mind? For the most part, a Ryzen 5 processor and midrange graphics card will handle most games at 1080p, however any resolution higher than that might require a stronger GPU, especially if you are pushing for higher refresh rates. With an established budget and information on the kind of monitor you're using, I can provide a better recommendation with a bit more confidence.
I'd say for a build around $500, this would be my recommendation: https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=9152810b-a04d-4b95-b5bc-c9cb11cd9750. It would be around $500 after the CPU/motherboard discount and should handle most 1080p games you throw at it, especially the ones you've mentioned. The build can be edited to reduce cost if you go with less RAM, less storage, and some lower quality component selection, but I believe this would be the best price:performance for now. If your budget allows for better components, we can help find areas to improve upon this build selection for something that better suits your needs.
Hello, I am looking at getting this same build: https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=9152810b-a04d-4b95-b5bc-c9cb11cd9750 I have a 144hz monitor, would i be able to play fortnite on good settings at 120+ fps?
