Wifi network

I have a netgear nighthawk AX 3000. I have a multilevel home and I have weak signal in the furthest room downstairs from router location. Relocation of router is not an option. I have a cat6 running to basement to a network switch for future office expansion. I am wondering if there is an extender that I can plug into network switch to improve wifi coverage in basement?

Greetings Phil. I am sorry for the delay in response. You typically can do that as long as the extender has an Ethernet port connection available. So we can pick out some items for this, which Micro Center store are you nearest to so we can match something to what they have in stock?
