You could swap out the water cooling for an air cooler to save some money on the build if needed. Besides that, processor wise, for just gaming the next processor up would be the 9900k which wouldn't be a big benefit for gaming, if really much any and would jump about $130 in price for that as well.
Windows is included in the build price as well, so it comes to a little over $1500 before taxes as-is.CPU: (1) Intel Core i7-9700K Coffee Lake 3.6GHz Eight-Core LGA 1151 Boxed Processor ($349.99 EACH)Motherboard: (1) ASUS B360-H ROG STRIX GAMING Intel LGA 1151 ATX Motherboard ($129.99 EACH)RAM: (1) Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 PC4-21300 CL16 Dual Channel Desktop Memory Kit 2K8G4D26BFSBK - Gray ($64.99 EACH)Case: (1) Lian Li 205 Tempered Glass ATX Computer Case - Black ($69.99 EACH)Power Supply: (1) EVGA 650BQ 650 Watt 80 Plus Bronze ATX Semi-Modular Power Supply ($79.99 EACH)Video Card: (1) Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Super Windforce OC 3X Overclocked Triple-Fan 8GB GDDR6 PCIe 3.0 Video Card ($499.99 EACH)M.2 SSD: (1) Inland Premium 256GB SSD 3D NAND M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 Internal Solid State Drive ($44.99 EACH)Hard Drive: (1) WD Blue Mainstream 2TB 5400RPM SATA III 6Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive ($51.99 EACH)Water Cooling Kits: (1) Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240L 240mm RGB Water Cooling Kit ($74.99 EACH)Operating System: (1) Microsoft Microsoft Windows 10 Home 32/64-Bit - USB ($139.99 EACH)Total: $1,506.90 -
So I believe I got a good build for you here. Just a few things to let you in on. The cooler and the extra fans I got in the build aren't same name brand so if you want to keep the aesthetic the same across with similar colors or name brands you may need to change those up. But the corsair fans I picked are a really good set up magnetic fans. Got a nice cpu & gpu combo of an i7-9700k and a 2060 super. If you can swing about an extra 140 bucks then you can jump up to a 2070 super from Gigabyte that they offer for 499 which may be worth it. But other than that this pc will handle all 1080p gaming at maxed settings well above 60fps and do some pretty good 1440p gaming at medium to high settings well above 60 fps. And if yo hate the case, you can always remove the Seagate drive and go up to something like the meshify c or whatever case you want. I put this together, it's $1483.91 before taxes. That is INCLUDING Windows. If necessary you can save a bit of money in different spots, like going with a slightly cheaper case or an 80+ Bronze PSU instead of Gold.
