Change in store to shipping order

Hi,
I placed an order but did not realize it was for in-store pickup. Can I update it to be shipped to my address on file?

    Greetings. Unfortunately we do not ship in-store pickups. At the top of our website, click Change under "My Store" if you select "Micro Center Web Store", you can arrange shipping. If it says "in-store only" it cannot be shipped.

    Thanks for the update. How can I then cancel my in-store pickup order? Will it just expire?

    How about the other way? I'm 3d printing face shields for a local hospital in Kennesaw (near Marietta store). A friend ordered 3 spools of filament online and set it up to ship to me, but it's showing they won't ship until next week. The Marietta store is showing 10+ spools in stock. How can I change the order from shipping to local pickup? I have other people asking how to donate more filament to me from MicroCenter, but I'm asking them not to until I can get this figured out.

    Shipping orders can't be transitioned to in-store pickup unfortunately, but of course we can cancel the order and you can place a reservation, or just come and pick up the items when you have the opportunity. If you or your friend who placed the order could reach out to us directly via chat/text/email or private message me, we can get that taken care of.

    Hello!
    Thanks for all your hard work during this challenging time. 
    I ordered something for in-store pickup (that was the only option available), and I'm happy to pick it up in-store, but... I live three hours away and so can't swing down during the week. I need to come on the weekend, but the reservation is currently only until Thursday.
    Can you please extend the reservation on my order until Sunday, May 3rd, at 11:59pm?

    Good afternoon and thank you for contacting us through the Micro Center Community. Thank you for your patience and support during this difficult time. For in store only items unfortunately this would be the only option available due to not being stocked in our distribution center. As for order extensions this option would not be available due to the high volumes of orders received.

    After 3 days the order would automatically be cancelled, though after this order is expired, and the item is still available, you may replace the order. If placed on or after Thursday and this is confirmed, the order would be held until the end of the day on Sunday, May 3rd. Know our store does close at 6pm so the order would be required to be picked up before this time. 

    If you have any additional questions regarding this order and the in store pickup process please let us know and we will be happy to assist.

    We cannot change the order to shipping once it's already placed, however we can get that reservation cancelled for you and you can place a new order for shipping.
