Spilled Bourbon on Acer V17 Nitro VN7-793G-xxxx Laptop

I took it apart and removed the battery. I want to clean it out with alcohol, but the 793 version of this laptop unfortunately requires you to go through the mobo to get to the underside of the keyboard and I'm not fully comfortable doing that. Battery is showing 2.2V, so might be shorted. The rest of it is sitting with a fan blowing on it to dry out.
I'd like to make a reasonable attempt to save it, but not really sure where to start. Any advice from the pro's?
