With the COVID-19 pandemic keeping the majority of the world indoors, this has had a huge effect on many events we are normally accustomed too.  Conventions, concerts, sporting events, etc.  These sort of events have been sadly cancelled or postponed to prevent the spreading of this contagious disease.

Fortunately, the online world has been full of livestreamed band performances, podcasts, and yes, esports.  Ranging from online shooters such as Valve's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and the newest release from Riot GamesValorant (Closed Beta) to multiplayer-online-battle-area (MOBA) games such as League of Legends and Dota 2, esports takes charge.  It's even been airing on live TV on channels such as ESPN!

One particular esport has been taking this new world by storm and it's a real sport that you or friends used to watch normally.  That sport of course, is Auto Racing.  Also known as Racing Sim, this engaging activity that spans from Nascar to Indycar to F1 has the professional drivers you see on TV, take the wheel from their home to strive for points in games such as iRacingF1 2019, and more.  I'd like to share with you the email I received from the iRacing Newsletter as this presents the opportunity for YOU to check out the hype of the online motorsports!
