  • Good Morning FicoMicro.  Thank you for Joining our Micro center Community.  All three of these systems are going to be very similar to each other,  The main difference in the systems is going to be the processor.  The Elitedesk 800 G2 is going to have the newest processor of the three and with this also has newer memory in it.  All three of these system should be able to run the programs you need to but the 800 G2 should preform a little better than the others.  Please let us know if you have any other questions on these system

Could you change the 256GB SSD for a 512GB SSD for the $369 of the full size case SKU: 056051, and then install the Seagate BarraCuda 2TB 7200RPM SATA III 6Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive SKU: 862318 $50.99 for a data drive on this SFF machine?

HP EliteDesk 800 G2 SFF Desktop Computer (Refurbished),  SKU: 021519    Mfr Part #: 607128705437-R   UPC: 607128705437

NEW EGG will do the SFF with the 512 SSD for $354, but I would rather purchase from you.  https://www.newegg.com/hp-elitedesk-800-g2-business-desktops-workstations/p/N82E16883450217?Description=hp%20elitedesk%20800%20g2&cm_re=hp_elitedesk_800_g2-_-83-450-217-_-Product

So to be honest, I'm a little confused by your question. All three of the SKUs you listed originally come with a 512GB SSD already, are you asking if we can change that to a 256 and then install a storage HDD instead?

We can certainly install an extra hard drive in the systems that have space for them, just keep in mind that there will be labor charges + cost of the extra drive to consider.

Thank you for clarifying. While we could upgrade the SSD, we would not be able to adjust it to the same price as that other SKU unfortunately. You would still have to pay the full price for the replacement 512GB SSD, on top of the  labor charge for installing it.

It's $99.99 for SSD installation and $79.99 for HDD installation.
