External Hard Drive Fix

edited June 2021 in General Discussion
Want to take my external hard drive to get it’s Data backed up before it fully dies on me. I wanted to confirm the price of the service before driving to my location and being told a different price.

Hello @Ticorules! Welcome to the Community.

Data backup is $99.99, assuming you supply your own drive for us to back up to. If you don't have another drive, we do sell them at the store. A 1TB external hard drive is going to be around $50.

If there are issues accessing the data and we actually need to go through our data recovery process, the charges would be different, but that's going to depend on the condition of the drive. Service would be able to give you an idea of those costs when you come in.
