No music download

I need to download a CD onto my Pc from External Dvd. Dvd player works for sure but music does not download. Please help!

Hello @Cyndi! Welcome to the Community.
What you're wanting to do is also called "ripping." It's actually fairly simple to do: Plug in your CD, open Windows Media Player, then click the Rip CD button. They go over this process as well as some other information here.
You can also accomplish this using by iTunes, Apple has a guide on that process here
