The B450 bundles with the 3rd gen ryzen; compatibility out of box

So I wanna get the  AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with Wraith Stealth Cooler, ASUS B450-Plus Prime AMD, CPU / Motherboard Bundle, however after some further research on the b450 motherboards, it seems that the b450's aren't compatible with the 3rd gen ryzen cpu's out of box. This is my first computer I'm going to build, so I can't update the bios myself. Is it compatible out of box? And if not can Micro Center update it for me? I ordered for in store pickup before doing further research on this and I'm not too sure.

Hello @JaeMango! Welcome to the Community. 

Most of the 400-series boards should be compatible out of box at this point since the 3000 series has been out long enough that manufacturers are shipping these boards with the BIOS updated already. There should be a label on the box that says it's Ryzen 3000 series ready. If that is not on the box, it will probably need a BIOS update, which our service desk is able to do for you.
