I would like a monitor for my powerspec g227 for 150 dollars max I was thinking the Asus eye care free monitor

That monitor would be a good option, especially since it's on sale right now. There are a lot of other options we have at or under $150, like the Dell SE2417HGX or ASUS VP247QG. Dell actually makes some very good monitors in general, and personally speaking I have an ASUS monitor that's worked well for me.
Honesstly, your best bet would be to check some reviews online or take a look at some monitors in person. We have a number of monitors on display in the store and it'd probably be easier to narrow down if you could see them.
