Data recovery
I replaced my Dell laptop hard drive. Can I recover the data from the old hard drive that stopped working?

Depending on the condition the old drive is in, you might be able to recover the data. We offer data recovery services at our in-store service desks so if you'd like us to take a look, you're always welcome to. If you want to try it yourself, you could be a hard drive enclosure and hook it up to another computer and see if the drive will display and allow you to access the data.
