iMac froze while upgrading to Catalina
I was trying to upgrade my 7 yr old iMac yesterday to Catalina. It froze and not able to go back to my previous version or anything. Went online and tried all the solutions offered but no luck. Apple Support recommended service center.

Usually OSX creates a partition that it upgrades from, so your original partition may be there unscathed. I would turn the PC on and hold the "Option" key. Let us know what you see here.
