How do I activate the windows version on my new refurbished dell pc from microcenter?
I see where to put in the activation key code for the version of Windows on it. On top of the cabinet is a windows sticker with the new Windows activation code, but the first set of digits is covered by a small Microsoft sticker. Do I peel off this small sticker to reveal the activation code? Or does this mess up the windows sticker?

Hello @jetthroe! Welcome to the Community.
Do not peel the sticker. The silver Microsoft rectangle is scratch off. Scratch it gently with a coin to reveal the Windows product key underneath.
If you peel the sticker instead of scratching, you will almost certainly ruin the key and we don't keep these keys on file, so you'll be out of luck at that point. Be careful not to scratch too hard either, I've seen some people scratch so hard they tore the sticker and ruined it that was as well.
