Noctua Cooler not turning on?

hi there !

I recently set up my noctua nh-d15s cooler and it has never turned on. I checked on the noctua site and they say it might be because it doesn't receive the turn on voltage unless the cpu gets hot.

Has anyone run into this before? I mainly just want to make sure it works.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance !

    The fan should at least be running at low RPMs. Do you have the fan plugged into the CPU fan header on your motherboard? Can you go into your BIOS and try changing the CPU fan speeds and see if the fan reacts at all?
