I have a MS Surface I purchased in 2014, it's been working perfectly since, six months ago it only booted up once. After recharging for more than a few hours, it rebooted for a few minutes then went dead. I think it needs a new battery, is that possible?
I have many important images, I can't transfer them to a separate hard drive.

Greetings. Unfortunately, Micro Center is not able to assist with repairs for Microsoft Surfaces. You would need to get in touch with Microsoft directly: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4023527/surface-how-to-get-service-for-surface
