Need as good of a gaming pc as I can buy $1500 budget, no peripherals needed.
Looking to get a new setup but not sure what I need. I am newer to system builds and my friend built my current setup like 5 years ago but wanted to get thoughts on a complete gaming system.

So I believe this should be a pretty solid build for you for quite some time. The mobo is a bit higher priced than I normally go but thats just because my go to ryzen x570 boards are almost always out of stock currently because of production issues. I personally like the Tuf gaming x570 board which goes for about 189 so not much cheaper but 20 bucks. Other than that you may be able to find a cheaper power supply if you go bronze rating and perhaps 500 watts but with the budget your going with the quality of your GPU really I think you should stick to 600 watts or higher. All that being said if you want to jump to a 2080 super instead of a 2070 super then you would need to drop down to a ryzen 5 3600x, a b450 board, and see if you can find a 500/550 watt power supply for cheaper and drop your boot drive down to a 500gb or 256gb m.2/ssd. If you did those things you should make up the 200$ difference between the cheapest 2080 super and the 2070 super. But my suggestion is if you can wait, hold off till holiday season this year. By then stocks should mostly normalize, B550 will be in full swing, and supposedly the rumors say the new Big Navi/30 series gpu's will be out along with possibly a 3000 series refresh for some ryzen cpu's. But if you want to buy in the next few weeks the build here should play every game out now at max settings 1080p well over 140fps and quite a few at 1440 high-max settings at over 60fps. Have fun
