External monitor through a Kensigton hub

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro and I connected a USB C connector to the MacBook Pro. I connected an Acer EB1 series-EB321HQU to the hub with an HDMI. The screen is not receiving input. The MacBook does not seem to be signaling the screen.

Hello @JMJ001! Welcome to the Community.
First things first, run through Apple's guide on using multiple displays with their systems: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202351
That will make sure you get all your settings straight. If you can go through that and it's still not working, I would try any other USB-C ports on your mac first, then try a second external monitor/cable to rule those out as a possibility. If that doesn't do it, it's possible it could be the adapter itself.
