Type C Cable for Docking station
NekeB
✭
I recently bought a Targus USB Type C docking station. it came with a very short usb type C cable. I need one that is longer. However, the ones that I have that are mostly used for charging my devices, work for the mouse and keyboard, but not for the monitor. I thought they were all created equal, but clearly they are not. Can someone help with the specs required for the USB type C cable that would work? I need to connect a mouse, keyboard, external camera and monitor to my laptop. Thanks in advance!

@NekeB Good morning and welcome to the Micro Center Community!
Thank you for sending us your questions regarding compatible cables. For many docking stations that plug by USB-C, you may need to purchase a Thunderbolt 3 cable which uses the USB-C type connection port. Below is a link to one of these cables.
