PowerSpec G464 Case - should there be a fan at the back of the case?
Hello-
I also posted this question in the Q & A section of the product page.

I purchased an open box version of the G464 and it looks great, but on the back side of the PC (next to the ports) there is a rectangular slotted area that looks like it's meant for ventilation. Is an internal fan supposed to be mounted to that area from the inside? My current PC (with an Antec case dating from 2008) has a fan at that location, but the online pictures I see of the g464 make it look like there is no fan at that location by default.
Thanks!
Thanks!

You can mount a 120MM fan here, but it's not included with the G464. It's a Lian Li 205 case which we sell separately here: https://www.microcenter.com/product/604789/lian-li-205-tempered-glass-atx-computer-case---black
The case includes 2x120MM fans and we installed both in the front on the G464. Then of course there's also the AIO in the top with the two additional 120's. -
Thanks for the reply. One other naive question- if I decide to install a 120mm fan in the rear, and leave the other fans in place, should the new rear fan be directed to blow air into the case or out of the case? Thanks!

It doesn't matter either way, but I'd personally configure it to exhaust. The rear fan grill isn't filtered, so having it as an intake will likely get dust in the chassis (and also the top radiator) far quicker than having it configured to exhaust. With this configuration, you'll have fresh cool air intaking through the front and exhausting out the top & rear.
