I have a Acer tower and want to add a laptop.  what is the cheapest that you have and would connect to my current desktop?

Are you looking for a laptop that would connect to your current monitor? If so, we would just need to know what kind of cable you use to connect to your current monitor. I am happy to help you find a laptop that best suits your needs. 
What do you plan on using the laptop for? Will it be mainly used for work, like checking email and browsing the web? Also, what is your budget for this?

I have the same question. Will a VGA to USB adapter work for dual monitor purposes? I will be using it for work. And I will be accessing different systems. The laptop is a Dell 7400 Latitude and it only has a USB port. The Acer monitor only has a VGA and DVI port.

@Mesha I answered this for you in your own thread in more detail. It will work. just make sure you have administrator access to install the DisplayLink software, if this is on a work laptop.

Hi, I'm interested in one of the HP laptop deals. It comes with 4 GB of memory. I want to upgrade that to 16 or 32 GB. I see you have those RAM cards available. These are SODIMM DDR 260-pin.
Can I get the laptop and upgrade memory card on the same day?
Can you pre-install the memory upgrade card?

we cannot do a pre-install of any parts, that has to be handled after you purchase the unit at the actual store. 

As for whether or not it can be done same day, that depends on how busy the service desk is and what time you come in. We're sometimes able to, but not always.
