Laptop - upgrading outdated ports

Good day,
Is it possible to upgrade outdated ports i.e USB 3.0 to USB-C or USB 3.1 or USB 3.2?
I'm currently using: DELL INSPIRON 7567 i7-7700HQ 15.6″FULL HD 16GB 256GB SSD + 1TB GTX 1050Ti 4GB

Hello @Disturbed! Welcome to the Community.

Unfortunately you won't be able to upgrade the ports. They're part of the motherboard itself and they're not designed to be changed or removed. To be honest, I'm not sure of any laptops that allow you to actually upgrade the ports. You can still usb 3.1/3.2 devices with a 3.0 port, and you can use a USB-A to USB-C adapter if you need to plug in a USB-C device, but you'll still operate at USB 3.0 transfer speeds of course.
  • Thanks, that was my thinking as well - that's it's part of the motherboard.
