Hard Drive Data Retrieval
EGinTX

Tried to turn on my Dell Inspiron 8300 series laptop and it makes loud clicking noise so I am assuming the hard drive died. Can the data be retrieved form that hard drive? How long would it take to retrieve data and what would
cost be?

If the hard drive is bad, we most likely won't to be able to recover it ourselves. If you bring the system in to us we can evaluate it. We'll determine if the data is recoverable from our end, in which case data recovery services should be $200. If we're not able to recover the data, we have the option of sending it out to a specialized data recovery center for a more advanced recovery, however if it does need to be sent to a data recovery lab it is extremely expensive.
