RGB Headers Questions (AURA from ASUS and RGB Fusion 2.0 from Gigabyte/Aorus)

Hi Micro-Center staff,
So I'm thinking getting a GIGABYTE AORUS B450 PRO WIFI motherboard which has a 5 pin rgb header named (12V G R B W). Would that work with a rgb fan/strip that only has 12V 4 pin that support Aura Sync  or RGB fusion? How would that work???? How would it go in? Do I have to set it up in bios or something?

I am switching from ASUS ROG STRIX to GIGABYTE AORUS so ill be new to the AORUS family.

Thanks!

You can connect a 4-pin RGB connection to that 5-pin header, you'll just need to make sure you linee up power pin properly (marked with a triangle on the plug). However, the 5-pin connection on this board is not addressable which means you can't control the RGB through that header. Only the 3-pin RGB headers on this board are addressable.
