Ender 5 Plus 3D Printer X Axis Issue

Good Afternoon,
Whenever the printer goes to find its "home" position, the X axis engages the limit switch but the gantry does not stop. The stepper motors still try to drive the gantry (Which is NOT good). I have tested the limit switch and it works. Maybe the main board? Any ideas?
