Ethernet adapter recommendations, Lenovo Flex 5
I purchased a Lenovo Flex 5 laptop at the St Louis Park MN store on June 19. The device needs an adapter in order to plug directly in to the ethernet. (Want ethernet over WiFi due to speed.) I purchased an Insignia adapter, but the internet speed has not increased. Is there a different adapter that is more compatible to increase my speed? Another device in my household is DOUBLE the internet speed at any given time when plugged into ethernet--consistently downloading above 200 MPBS, which is what our household account is provisioned for with our internet provider. Seems my Lenovo Flex 5 is not configured properly or the Insignia adapter is not compatible. At best, I'm getting downloads of less than 100 MPBS

It sounds like the adapter you purchased is fast ethernet. Fast ethernet caps at 100 MBPS. Make sure you get a Gigabit adapter and you should be in good shape.
