If you plan on using this build as a guide for what to purchase, you can surely switch the board out.   I've included a filtered list below sorted by price of boards that can be used with the 3000 series Ryzen processors.

Note that a BIOS update may be required for the 450 chipsets.  X570 should have you good to go.
