Need Help Choosing Parts

Nothing really to advise on this one. Your RAM is right on for the platform. You chose an EVGA GPU, and a Samsung SSD. For your budget you're not going to do much better and I agree with the brand selection for the above components. You could consider the 10th gen CPU's, but that's going to increase the budget, otherwise, I'd go for it.

Thanks for the feedback! Do you think there is anywhere I could save some money without sacrificing much performance?

You could save a bit on the CPU by going with the i5-10600k. It's a bit cheaper than the 9700k, but general gaming performance is extremely close between them. Otherwise I agree with Mike, at this budget you've already made appropriate choices. 

Don't forget that you need to purchase an aftermarket CPU cooler with these unlocked Intel chips, and you don't want to cheap out. I'd personally look at the Noctua NH-U14S to start off with.

Do you think it would be wise to change the 970 EVO SSD for the https://www.microcenter.com/quickViewConfigurator2020/600419/inland-premium-256gb-ssd-3d-nand-m2-2280-pcie-nvme-30-x4-internal-solid-state-drive ? I would be saving nearly 60 bucks and I don't think I need the full 500GB of SSD storage if I only plan to load my windows boot and favorite game to it.

Also, I don't see the Noctua NH-U14S as an option under CPU coolers. Where can I find it?

There won't be any meaningful performance differences between the two, so I'd say go for it. I haven't personally used our Inland drives but have coworkers who do and they'll speak to them being good drives.

You can put it into the search bar and it should show up, but it may be out of stock at your store.  Other options would be the Noctua NH-D15, NH-D15S, and AIO liquid coolers like the NZXT Kraken X53 or Corsair H100i
