RGB lightup
Options
I am moving my old system, new system for my son, into a different case. I recently bought a new cools (Thermaltake UX100). My 9 year old son loves the RGB stuff so I got that for him. Is there a way to power the RGB even if it's unaddressable off an MSI Z87-G45 motherboard? Or even a seperate controller?
Thank you.
Thank you.

That motherboard doesn't have any RGB headers so you would need to use a separate controller that can connect in some other way. That cooler uses a 5V RGB connection, so you'll need to make sure you get something that is 5v and not 12V. 5V RGB connections uses three pins where 12V use four, e.g:

I couldn't find any RGB controllers we carry that utilize the three-pin connections like that, but you may be able to find ones online.
