Laptop Recommendations

Hello,

I am in the market for a new laptop for my job. Currently, I have an ASUS A55v and have not had any troubles with it whatsoever so I would probably like to stick with this brand or something comparable. I would like to keep this laptop for home use now and would like a newer laptop for work.

I would like a laptop that has a good webcam as I do most work through online video sessions. Also, I would like a processor that is fast enough to keep up with demands. I will use basic word processing documents, powerpoints, etc. I will be connecting my laptop to dual monitors at home so it must have a good video card. I used to be an avid gamer but haven't played for years. I would like to get a laptop with a video card that can play most modern games. I am not worried about winning any benchmark contests by any means. Must have Windows 10. At least 15" screen size. 

Any advice would be appreciated!

I am hoping to stay under $1000 and I live closest to the location in Overland Park, KS.

@Jakeman83 They're both good systems, but if you're pushing into that $1200-$1300 area. I'd look at the Maingear Vector 2 and strongly consider it.

Hmm just checked the site and it looks to be sold out. Do you know when they will get more in?

Also, I failed to mention I am considering using VR as a form of therapy with my clients. So I will need a laptop that can handle that as well.

I don't have an ETA on new inventory. That system would work fine for VR, but I would focus on making sure the system you select has a 2060 or 2070 to be in a safe area performance wise. We do carry the Vector still. Check back in, we'll post inventory online when it arrives.
