Need Help Choosing Parts for First Gaming Computer

This is for the first gaming computer for a thirteen year old. I put this parts list together and am looking for some advice. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=fb44547d-0419-464f-8874-36faa387664b

Are there any opportunities to save a little with a different part? And where would you recommend to spend a little more? Lastly, are there any other parts that we would need (we already have a keyboard and mouse).

Thank you

    Greetings @km2266

It's a good build overall and it's pretty lean. I don't see a lot of ways to save money here. You can select another GPU and maybe save $10 or so, but that's about it. But it is a good system and it'll work well for your child. One upgrade I would recommend is swapping that drive out for an NVME drive. It's a pretty substantial throughput increase for the $25 or so it'll cost you.

You have everything you need for the tower. Peripherals you have. Monitor and speakers I assume you have as well. That's it.
