AMD 3700X vs i5-10600k

I am looking to build my first PC.  I don't really play games. The PC would be used for Quicken, web browsing, Skype, Zoom, Netflix and YouTube-TV. I was thinking between the AMD 3700X and i5-10600k. I know if I get the AMD I would need to buy a GPU.  I would think I would go for a 1650 Super or 1660. Please let me know what you would recommend.

So if you're not gaming at all, then between those two I'd go with the 10600k since it comes with integrated graphics and you wouldn't have to purchase a separate GPU. Both those CPUs are plenty good for the things that you listed, and honestly you could probably go with something even cheaper and still be just fine, like the i5-10400 or Ryzen 5 3600.

You could also wait for the upcoming Ryzen 4000-series APUs that come with integrated graphics from AMD.

Any idea on when the Ryzen 4000-series APUs will be available for us to buy?

I believe they'll probably start showing up by the end of September. Can't make any promises on that though.
