Help choosing parts
I made a build that i am ready to pull the trigger on i think and pcpartpicker.com keeps saying that my power supply doesn't have that extra wire for the 12V into the motherboard but i made sure to find one with that so i think it is just a glitch. Anyways if you could look over my specs and tell me if they are compatible and if it would be good for some high FPS gaming, Thanks!!.
Edit: sorry it was private

Greetings @Mike_T110
Your part list is private. Please share it with us or build the system on our PC builder tool: https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx -
I changed it sorry about that!

I would ask you what you use it for, as this will make a different in tweaking the build. Based on the CPU and GPU choices, I would assume it's more directed towards being a workstation, for video editing, content creation, ect. Please verify this is the case.
As for what I see. Zen 2 CPU, try to hit 3600 on the RAM, CL16 if you can, CL18 otherwise. Besides that, your build is good. The warning about the power supply is saying the board has a CPU 8 and 4 pin connector and the PSU only has a single CPU 8 pin, but that's all you need to connect. You'll be fine. -
I am trying to play games on the PC and i am aiming for over 100 FPS on new games i play mostly first person shooters.
When you say CL16 and CL18 what are you refering to? And my knowledge of pc parts are very limited so if you could tweak my build maybe and help me achieve my goal of 100+fps on games i would be happy to see it, I am trying to keep the build under $2,000 i really appreciate the advice, Thanks! -
Drop your CPU down to a 3700X and put the money you save into a 2070 Super. It'll provide a much more significant performance improvement for gaming. You'll see on the ram you selected it's 3200 CL16. CL16 is the latency. CAS latency 16. Lower is better.
-
CL16 and CL18 are the "Cast Latency" for the RAM, with CL16 being better than CL18. We recommend doing CL16 if possible. Do you have plans for streaming at all? Content Creation? If you are only looking at gaming, you may want to consider going Intel over AMD on this, especially since you are getting your own cooler anyways. I also recommend looking to upgrade your GPU if you want to make sure you are getting higher frame rates at all games. Which resolution are you looking to play your games at? As this is one of the biggest deciding factor when it comes to picking your GPU.

I changed what you said and i was wondering if you think this build is good enough to move forward, I assume i can just place the order online and pick it up in-store? @TSMikeW

Edit: Not sure if i need any more fans i dont think i have any besides the cooler master case -
I dont plan on streaming im only looking at gaming, i play my games at 1680X1050 but thats only because my toaster is getting old and it improves quality i would like to run at 1920X1080. @TSPhillipT
Edit: what Intel CPU would you recommend for my build? -
I recommend the i7 10700K over the i9 9900k, as they are similar in performance, but the 10700K gets less hot. You will need to get a Z490 Motherboard instead of the B550 Motherboard as B550 is specifically AMD Processors. Do keep in mind that the Intel processors do not have their own CPU Fans, so you will need to add your own. Your GPU is more than enough for 1080P alongside the processor as well.

I changed the CPU and the Motherboard but i am not sure what fan to pick, Is water cooling necessary? And my local MicroCenter is sold out of the video card i picked, Is there something you can recommend i swap my Geforce RTX 2070 Super for or should i wait for this video card? @TSPhillipT
I really appreciate your help!!!

Air Cooling is generally better Price-to-Performance when it comes to cooling vs Water Cooling. Water Cooling is mainly for aesthetic or higher overclocking.
You can definitely go for a 2060 Super if you are only playing on 1080P, or event a 1660Ti as well. The higher card lets you upgrade to a higher resolution monitor for later. You can also wait for the announcement/release of the Nvidia 3000 series, with some of the news already coming out yesterday. -
@Mike_T110
You would want a high end air cooler or a 240MM AIO water cooler. I would recommend the latter. It'll keep the package cool and it gives you some room for overclocking if you ever want to get into that. -
My pc i have now is hanging on by a thread so i am just going to go with the 2060 super my monitor is 1080P and i dont plan on changing any time soon so i think that will be the move. I added a CPU fan and i think my build is ready to roll i just need to check it for compatibility. i really appreciate you'r help this is possibly the final build below @TSPhillipT

@TSMikeW the options were pretty limited on the microcenter website so the : Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 Low Profile CPU Cooler seemed like the "high end" one because it is the highest price.
-
@Mike_T110
I would switch the Cooler from the Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 Low Profile CPU Cooler. It's more expensive as it's one of the best coolers for ITX builds. ITX builds are the smaller and more cramped builds that fit into small/different shaped cases. Mike recommended a 240mm All in One Cooler like this one; https://www.microcenter.com/product/626059/cooler-master-masterliquid-ml240l-rgb-v2-240mm-water-cooling-kit.
This would be a comparable Air Cooler; https://www.microcenter.com/product/617831/noctua-nh-u12s-cpu-cooler
