I put this parts list together and am looking for some advice.

I’m trying to build for MS FLight Sim 2020 and something I won’t have to upgrade anytime soon, please let me know if this build is overkill. Thanks

Greetings.. That build will dominate about any task thrown at it, but yes the processor would be quite overkill for just gaming, but you wouldn't have to worry about upgrades for a long time.
Also you wouldn't need a heat sink and a water cooler for the processor, but if you do pick that processor or any other high-end i9 Intel processor, I would suggest a water cooler. -
