Greetings. If you're referring to our stock, the Ryzen 2600 is an older generation so unfortunately we would no longer carry it. Yes, that would be a good budget build for 1080p gaming. If you want high FPS in modern games you'll probably have to lower some of your graphics settings but you should be able to run most things pretty well. I definitely think it'd be worthwhile to invest at least in a small SSD to install Windows onto so your system runs faster for your general day-to-day use. SSDs make a very noticeable impact on things like boot times and load times for applications (including games if they're installed on an SSD). 

Along with what Ian mentioned, I'll throw in a good word for the Ryzen 3 3300X as another nice budget gaming processor that I'd recommend over the 2600.
