Looking for an AMD motherboard with a q code lcd display that I could set to display temperature after POSTing. Google isn't helping much. Is there only specific brands/chipsets that do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!

While some motherboard manufacturers' UEFI/BIOS can enable the RGB LED lighting to determine temperature (by color) after POST, I'm not seeing a huge variety of them that would allow that.  Doing some research, the older MAXIMUS VIII HERO did allow a setting to show temperatures on the QCODE LCD after post.  It's quite possible they may have retained this feature on their current generation mobos.

I know some AIO Coolers have this capability to show it directly on the cooling block's LED such as the NZXT Z63 and Z73, however these coolers generally cost more than most motherboard.

Based on doing some research online, the best information I found was that some people have created small programs that allow you to do this, but I can't find anything about this being a specific feature on any particular board.

It will be an option you'll set in the BIOS to show the QCode on POST and then the temperature thereafter.
