What's your intended use for the build? Off the bat the first thing I'd definitely change is the 3900XT. Practically speaking there's no real benefit to getting the XT version vs the normal 3900X. There might be a 1% performance difference, but you might as well just save that $30 instead.
The 3900X is a great CPU and you chose a nice board, but depending on what exactly you're planning on doing with the system there's probably stuff we can change around to extra more performance per dollar out of it without changing the overall cost. -
TSTonyV,
Thanks for your suggestion, I updated the build, link below. I am going to use it for CAD/3D CAD, web server for my home automation, and general computing. I was planning to configuring the two SSD in RAID 1. The current PC (i7-2600K) I have is almost 10 years old. I figure to build a high end build that will last me for many years to come like the last build I did.

Great. I think the 3900X is a solid choice then, sounds like you'll be doing works that's going to rely a lot on multi-threaded performance and you can really beat the 3900X or 3950X for that purpose.
I'd personally choose a different case with better airflow because it sounds like you'll be doing some CPU intensive work and we wanna make sure we have optimal cooling. Personally I'd look at the Cooler Master NR600, Lian Li Lancool II Mesh, or the Fractal Design Meshify C.
Otherwise I don't really have any complaints, you've got a solid build going. The motherboard may be a bit expensive if you're just trying to maximize performance but it's got a good suite of features if that's what you're going for. -
TSTonyV,
For a case do you have any other recommendation that has an External 5.25" Drive Bay so I can install an Optical Drive
Thanks,
Mike -
