Need Help Choosing Parts

I put this parts list together and am looking for some advice. https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder.aspx?load=e490121a-be22-4f4d-b5c7-1f342559832c

This is my first build so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a solid build all around, main thing to point out is that I would go with DDR4-3600 memory instead of 3200, since 3600 is the sweetspot for Ryzen CPUs.

Is your primary use gaming, or will you be doing other things? The 3700X is a great CPU, but in terms of gaming performance, it's beat by the 10600k at the same price range.

NVIDIA just recently announced all the details for their new RTX 3000 series and it's looking to be a big leap over current gen systems. If you can wait, I would. The RTX 3070 should be about $500, and existing hardware should drop in price once the new parts hit the shelves.

  • It's for both gaming and work though the reason I'm getting an upgrade is for gaming. I've been debating between the two and still have to decide.

Thanks for the info about the new series.
