GPU Warranty/MicroCenter Extended Warranty

Greetings, I've purchased a high end GPU(2080 Ti) a couple of months ago for both work and entertainment purposes. As of a week ago I've had overheating issues, crashes and stability issues when handling design software rendering as well when running high end games etc. I know MicroCenter doesn't handle GPU repairs, so with purchasing an extended warranty in store what are my options?

Can I just get in store credit to purchase another card if the same card replacement is not available? 
If not what are my options seeing how I purchased an instore warranty?

If a product is defective and you have a protection plan, you can just bring it back into us under the warranty. We'll verify the issues and we would credit you for the original price you paid for the product.
