Having a problem with Atari Fight Stick on Mint 19.3

Hi Folks, I have a problem using my Atari Fight stick with trackball on Linux Mint 19.3. Im able to get the trackball to work but cant get the controller to work. Fight stick has a xm-10 controller . Any help will be greatly appreciated.

@uchoward What software are you using the fight stick with? The trackball is essentially an upside down mouse, so your OS will see it as a mouse and it can be used in any program you can use a mouse in (including the OS). The fight stick/XinMo controller is treated like any other game controller, so it will only work in software that listens to inputs from a game controller. Have you tried an emulator like Retroarch?

Sorry , it's been a long time . I was tuned out of this matter but I'm back to get this going. I'm using emulator station with the RetroPie .
