Why don't you wait for RTX 3070 release

Seems to be a solid build, what are you planning on using the system for? Depending on your use case and preferences there's definitely ways we can can get more performance for your dollar. You also didn't include a video card, I assume that's to wait for the RTX 3000 series release?

I think the 3700X is a great all-around choice then, build looks good overall. You could save some money with a cheaper case and maybe bump up to the Ryzen 9 3900X instead, but that's the only thing I'd really change.

I would pair them with something like a 2070 Super/2080 Super, or ideally wait for the upcoming RTX 3070/3080

We don't have any accurate information until the card launches, but no. I do not think the RTX 3070 will be in any danger of hitting a CPU bottleneck with a 3700X.
