Need Help Choosing Parts

I am custom building an Intel PC for purely business use, no gaming or overclocking. Which would be faster
Core i3-10100 3.6 GHz with 6 MB L3 cache or
Core i5-10400 2.9 GHz with 12 MB L3 cache?
Thanks

The i5-10400 is technically the faster of the two, but it may not make much of a difference depending on exactly what you're doing. When you say "business use," do you mostly mean documents, spreadsheets, that sort of thing? Or is there specific software you're using?

Mostly internet access, word processor, spreadsheets, etc. Also watch videos and burn dvd's & blu-ray.

Alright. I think for your purposes both should work fine. If it fits well within your budget I'd go with the i5-10400, but if you have some budget constraints then I'd go with the 10100 instead.
